Haroldston Hall History
During medieval times Haroldston Hall is said to have been the seat of the “Lord of Haroldston”. From then until Victorian times it has been the home of yeomen and their familes.
It came into prominence in the 19th Century when it was in the ownership of Sir William Walters, banker and High Sheriff of the County. he was then succeeded by his son Sir William Howell Walters, also High Sheriff.
The hall has been in the present owner’s family for over 60 years.
